You don't need to be a professional woodworker to benefit from a membership at Knock on Wood. In fact, none of our members are professionals — they are scientists, professors, corporate employees, entrepreneurs, and much more. The thing that unites them is finding joy in rolling their sleeves up and working with their hands.

We offer a wide variety of membership packages designed to perfectly fit each individual's needs.

Important: In order to use the machines you must take, at a minimum, a machine training course to qualify for membership. For beginner woodworkers, we strongly advise taking at least one of our courses in addition to the machine training.

Pricing

 

The cost of membership can vary greatly, so it's important to select the package that best fits your need.

The price is defined by two factors:
1) How often you want to use the workshop;
2) How long you sign up for.

3, 6, and 12-month memberships are also eligible for a 5% discount for upfront payment via bank transfer. Request an invoice via email.

​

All packages are discounted by 50% for those who use exclusively hand tools. Use the discount code "HandTools50" when signing up.

Our membership packages are intended for those looking to use the workshop for their personal projects. If you plan to use our facilities for commercial purposes (producing to sell), please get in touch via the form below. Provide as much information as possible to help us make a personalised offer for you: how much time you intend to spend in the workshop, what type of operations you will be performing, what time of day/week you'd be most active, etc.
